We see that Susie does church services, concerts, and Cowboy Church Services. What is the difference?

1. A concert is mostly what you will see Susie do and usually lasts 1 ½ - 2 hours. It is not exclusively a concert Susie shares her testimony throughout the evening.

2. Church services are on Sunday am & pm and depending on the church’s wishes, she can do the whole service or part of the service.

3. Cowboy Church is usually held at a regular Cowboy Church or in conjunction with a rodeo or some kind of Cowboy function.

There is very little differentiation between the three functions as far as what Susie does. She shares the gospel of Christ in a very honest, down home manner.

What does Susie charge for an appearance?

Their honorarium is usually $2500 plus travel expenses. If the distance to the venue is over 500 miles, one air ticket, motel, food, and sound/lights equipment is needed. If the distance is less than 500 miles, Susie can provide the sound system, but still needs motel, food, and travel expenses.

Susie’s missionary field is the rodeo. The other concert appearances help her to go into that field.

Susie, her bookkeeper, and her secretary are all employees who receive a salary. The honorarium helps each of these individuals meet their financial needs and helps them take care of their families. The money also goes to help fund Susie’s recording projects (which are used as her testimony to her faith) and to help other ministries.

We are a small church and cannot afford the honorarium, but we still want Susie to come to our area. How can we make this happen?

It takes a lot of work but we have seen small areas have large crowds. Here are some suggestions:

1. Get together with other churches in your area and share the cost.

2. Some churches pay the honorarium and either; charge a nominal ticket price ($5 or more), or take up a love offering to offset the cost.

3. Ask for community sponsors to help with the cost. This can include local bookstores, private individuals, Christian groups and organizations, newspaper, radio, etc.

4. Plan fundraisers specifically for covering the honorarium.

It may take some time, but if it is God’s will that Susie visit an area, then it will be laid strong on hearts and God will provide – pray and He will open the doors.

Does Susie do radio, newspaper, or television interviews?

Yes, Susie is always happy to do an interview. Depending on time constraints, it may have to be done over the phone, but she will do an interview. Please have the individual who is wishing to conduct the interview call the Psalms Ministries office at (580) 889-5219 to schedule a time.

We have a Christian bookstore in town. Can they get her product through your office and will she do an in-store appearance?

Bookstores can receive Susie’s products (CDs, tapes, books) through our office at a discounted rate. The bookstore need only call Doris at our office for a list of prices (580) 889-5219.

If time allows, Susie is also willing to participate in an in-store appearance. Again, the store need only call our office to schedule a time (580-889-5219).

We have a western wear store in our town. Would Susie be willing to make an in-store appearance there?

Yes. Roper Apparel has clothed Susie and her family for several years and she is always happy to promote their products in stores.

We want to promote Susie’s appearance the best way possible, but are not really sure how to go about doing that. Can you give us some suggestions?

1. We have a blank flyer with Susie’s picture on it that has space to fill in date, time, place, etc. You can download this off our website www.susieluchsinger.com

2. Call your local radio station and newspaper to see if they will do an interview and an article on Susie’s coming to your area.

3. For a small fee, we can send postcards to everyone on their mail list within 100 miles of where Susie will be performing. Call (580) 889-5219 to find out how many people can be reached and the cost.

4. Contact the churches in your area to see if they will help promote Susie’s appearance by announcing it in church or releasing services (if it is on a Sunday) so their members can attend.

5. Contact your local bookstore (or one in a nearby town) to see if they carry Susie’s products and to see if they would like Susie to do an in-store appearance.
